About us
Brian Marek, company president, has been involved in the residential construction business since 1977. After gaining valuable hands-on knowledge and experience as a framing, siding and decking subcontractor, Brian formed B.K. Marek Construction, Inc. in 1982 and began building custom homes on a pre-sold basis as well as remodeling and light commercial projects.
The firm was incorporated in 1985 with his spouse, Carroll Marek, as the Office Manager. Since then, we have built over 200 custom homes and completed over 230 remodeling projects.
Our Process
We understand that the details, no matter how small, is what makes a house a home. We believe our one-on-one process is what makes us unique and we pride ourselves on building solid relationships with both our customers and contractors. We have shaped our building process to ensure a personal experience for our clients from our first vision meeting to move-in day.
VISION MEETING
We meet with you one-on-one to talk about your dreams and goals for your project to ensure that we are a good fit. We assess your plans, budget and timeline and we work together to ensure that we can accomplish your building goals and vision within your desired budget and timeline.
Pre-Planning & Scheduling
Once the plans, financing and contracts are finalized, we layout a timeline and start to schedule our trusted contractors. Because integrity of construction and detail are always of paramount importance to us we utilize only the area's finest, most reliable sub-contractors for all of our construction projects. With over 30 years experience in building homes, we are confident in our ability to deliver and complete projects within a timely manner.
Construction
We work to assure that all facets of the construction process are carried out as planned and in a timely manner. You will meet with us at every major step during the build process to go over all the details and budget and make any adjustments as needed.
Completion & Delivery
We understand that delivering on time is important so that you can plan your move accordingly which is why we reassess the construction timeline at every major milestone and keep you up-to-date. We realize that once you move in your home, there is still more to do. We take pride in promptly taking care of warranty work and we stay in touch during the first year after move in.
